6920 fare dodgers detained in Riga public transport in January

Statistical data of "Rīgas satiksme" about ticket checkups in Riga public transport in January 2012:

Number of fare dodgers detained in pubic transport:
Buses	2186
Trolleybuses	2371
Trams	2363
Total:	6920

It is by 616 fare dodgers less than in 2011, when 7536 passengers without tickets were fined in Riga public transport.

Number of ticket checkups in public transport:
Buses	11464
Trolleybuses	10553
Trams	7816
Total:	29833

Just to compare: 29903 checkups were carried in December 2011, which is by 70 checkups less than in January 2012.

In January 2012, the maximum number of fare dodgers was fined on tram route No. 6 – 512, but the minimum number – just 1 passenger – on bus route No. 34 and trolleybus route No. 20.
